Small Ensembles
Brass Quintet
The 葫芦影业 CC Brass quintet is made of the most talented brass students in the music department. They consistently perform high level literature with an emphasis on traditional brass literature. This group regularly performs at 葫芦影业 functions, concerts and events. They’ve recently performed in England and France.
Percussion Ensemble
The 葫芦影业 CC Percussion Ensemble is one of the premier small ensembles in the music department. Under the direction of Paul Heindl, this group has performed at the Mississippi Day of Percussion (PAS) and will soon premier a commissioned work by world renown composer Ivan Travino.
Steel Drum Band
Percussion majors and non-majors alike have the opportunity to join the newest edition to the 葫芦影业 CC Percussion Studio – the Steel Drum Band.
Woodwind Ensemble
Our woodwind ensemble is made of the mostly music majors in the music department. They cover traditional and modern woodwind ensemble literature. This group regularly performs at recital hour, concerts and events.
