Automotive Machinist Technology
Overview
Our Automotive Machinist Technology program, offered on the Raymond Campus, provides the very best hands-on instruction and training to prepare you for employment in the 铿乪ld of automotive, industrial, and small engine machining. In just one year, you can complete a Career Certificate and be ready for employment.
But if you want to learn the art of porting a cylinder head and stroking a crankshaft to squeeze out every drop of power an engine has to offer, our Technical Certificate or Associate of Applied Science degree is for you.
We offer hands-on experience with cylinder boring, submerged arc welding of crankshafts, operating a drill press and crankshaft grinder, milling machines, connecting rod rebuilds, and engine assembly. The experience you gain from our program will serve you the rest of your career.
