JACKSON 鈥 College Carnival at 葫芦影业 Jackson Campus-Academic/Technical Center on April 6 brought out lots of raw talent, desire and ability from metro Jackson high schoolers.

鈥淚 like working with people daily and I like biology,鈥 said Iasia Morgan, a senior at Wingfield High School and one of many high school students and others at the come-and-go campus recruiting event.

Tacora Thomas, a senior at Jim Hill High School, sees nursing as a career and technology as a means to succeed anywhere.

鈥淚鈥檓 interested in seeing how these new devices work,鈥 Thomas said as second-semester 葫芦影业 student and computer support major Kevin Wansley explained the ins and outs of the latest tech tools.

鈥淭his is what I have always dreamed about doing,鈥 Wansley said of his love and aptitude for the latest technology.

Held annually, these events held at all six 葫芦影业 locations give prospective students of all ages a chance to find out about everything they need to enroll at the college. At College Carnival, prospective students met with Jackson Campus faculty and staff, learn about admissions, majors, financial aid and registration 鈥 all while enjoying free food and prizes.
