Federal Grants

Federal Pell Grant

The Federal Pell grant is money that is available to undergraduate students who have not received a baccalaureate degree. This money does not have to be paid back, as long as the student remains enrolled and attends more than 60% of that semester. The U.S Department of Education uses a standard formula to evaluate the information the student provides on the FAFSA to determine his/her eligibility. The award can be between $639 and $6,345 per award year. These funds are divided between fall and spring semesters and credited to the student’s account. Any remaining balance of financial aid (after fees are paid) is applied to the student’s selected refund preference with BankMobile Disbursements, a technology solution, powered by BMTX, Inc. . You may set up your refund preference with BankMobile Disbursements on .

Federal Supplemental Equal Opportunity Grand (FSEOG)

The FSEOG grant is money available to undergraduate students who meet eligibility criteria. Eligibility is determined using the results of the FAFSA. FSEOG is awarded to the student with exceptional financial need or the lowest Expected Family Contribution (EFC) and is eligible for pell grant. This money does not have to be paid back, as long as the student remains enrolled more than 60% of that semester.
